Siruvani Reservoir
The Siruvani reservoir was built by the Kerala Government with the purpose of meeting the drinking water requirements of the city of Coimbatore. The catchment is in the reserve forests of both Kerala and Tamilnadu. Muthikulam hill is situated on the eastern side of the dam and the waterfall from this hill is the main source of the dam.
Kanjirapuzha Dam
A must-watch place. Well maintained and entertaining. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the dam with a backdrop of mountains covered in clouds. Once you climb to the top of the dam, it is absolutely wonderful. The view as it rained on the hills with lightning striking across was indescribably beautiful.
Meenvallam Waterfalls
A magnificent 5 step waterfall hidden inside the deep forests from Thuppanad Junction on the Palakkad-Manarkkad route, the Meenvallam waterfalls are nearly 20 to 25 feet high and the depth is around 15 to 20 feet.
Atla Waterfalls
Atla Waterfalls is near to Meenvallam waterfalls. This waterfall also known as Aaral waterfalls. Set in the lush green surroundings of western ghats, the beautiful Atla waterfalls is surrounded by dense forests and meticulous landscapes. This is one of the higher falls of Meenvallam, accessible by a forest path.
Malampuzha Dam
It is the largest reservoir in Kerala and was built in 1955 across Malampuzha, a tributary of River Nila. Malampuzha Garden with its manicured lawns, well-laid-out flower beds, pools, fountains, and pathways is situated adjacent to the dam. The garden is famous for its aerial ropeway.
Fantasy Park
It's the first amusement park in Kerala, it has all the basic fun and thriller rides. Located in a wonderful scenic spot in palakkad, very closer towards Malampuzha Dam. A Colorful water park with multiple roller coasters, a food court, wave pool & planetarium.
Attappadi Forest
Attappady is an extensive mountain valley at the headwaters of the Bhavani River nestled below the Nilgiri Hills of the Western Ghats. The Attapadi Reserve Forest is a great place to visit if you want to escape the city's bustle.

The core of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, the Silent Valley National Park is probably one of the most magnificent gifts of nature to mankind, a unique preserve of tropical rain forests in all its pristine glory with an almost unbroken ecological history.
